Meet Azhani

Azhani Amiruddin, MA(Hons), PG-Cert., MClinPsych, PhD, MAPS
Clinical Psychologist | Researcher | Clinical Supervisor
Trained in the UK and Australia, Azhani is an experienced Clinical Psychologist specializing in chronic illness, cancer, grief, neurodiversity, depression, anxiety, and culturally diverse experiences. She takes a warm, evidence-based approach, drawing from Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support her clients' unique needs.
Azhani holds a Master of Arts in Psychology (Honours) from the University of St Andrews, a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Studies from the University of Edinburgh, and a combined PhD and Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Western Australia. She has worked across palliative care, universities, and tertiary hospitals, providing therapy to underprivileged, international, and diverse populations.
Beyond clinical work, Azhani is a researcher in health psychology, focusing on adolescent and young adult mental health in palliative care. She presents at international conferences and is a board-approved Clinical Supervisor.
Azhani sees clients in Crows Nest on Wednesdays and Saturdays, offering face-to-face and Telehealth appointments. From May 2025, she will provide adult ADHD assessments, and from July 2025, Schema Couples Therapy.
